A while back I found this wall shelf, which was a much lighter brown. I loved its lines and knew where I wanted it in my kitchen.
I did, however, want it to be several shades darker. The accents in my kitchen tend to be black or wrought iron.
I have collected white pitchers for quite a while. I love their varied shape and creamy white.

At an Estate sale we found a set
of Johnson Bros. dishes. I just love these cups and saucers. Their smooth creamy color is very appealing.
to me their round and shallow shape
is just the perfect size
