Several years back, my husband and I decided to change the look of the downstairs powder room. It had a large mirror glued to the wall, a standard sink and cabinet. We had the idea to take an old dresser and to put a sink in it. 
Giving the room a bit more character. We also hung a framed mirror.
We found this dresser at an antique-flea market. It took a little more work to find a sink that would the dimensions of the top of the dresser. We found this adorable small, round sink and finished the look with updated faucets. 
We were very pleased with the results.
A few years ago, when we knew we were moving, we wanted to take this sink/dresser with us. So we replaced it once again and hoped we could use this dresser in our new home.
We found our dream home, but unfortunately, none of the bathrooms could accommodate this sink/dresser. Not wanting to get rid of it, we decided to see if it would work as a side table in our living room.
It has now become a conversation piece and a great location for this pitcher and the occasional flower arrangement.
