It’s A Hen Party!
I was inspired by the place-mats my daughter got
and 'allowed' me to use
I have had fun with this setting.
Almost giddy.
I mean, think of all the things I could say...
Welcome all chicklets
or
having dinner with all my "Peeps".
The center of attention is my darling blue and white hen.
Who made an appearance here a few days back.
I made a nest for her out of a straw wreath I unraveled and placed
in a basket.
I then surrounded her by a few of her closest friends...
her Peeps!
Twin Roosters ready to go to town!
They look ferocious, but they’re quite
harmless. They belonged to my parents.
A prim and proper lady Chicken in
Milk Glass
A handsome Rooster…always looking for food!
Taking a second glance, this fella looks
like he’s up to some mischief!
The setting for this occasion includes
Mikasa Color Classics-Basic White plates
set at an angle
simple white napkin rings encircling the
napkins, which are also on loan
festive blue silverware set from Dollar General
Amber colored glassware
Yellow crocheted table runner from April Cornell
All set upon a light blue table cloth.
This tablesetting has been a lot of fun!
