Warm and Cozy

We have been experiencing some of the same blustery weather as many of you have. The kind that keeps you indoors and makes you want to curl up in a blanket with a cup of tea or coffee and a good book.

On days such as these I think a hearty bowl of stew, fresh bread and a light dessert are just as warm and cozy.

What else can make a setting cozy. Candlelight of course.

I chose a favorite tablecloth that has a number of beautiful
colors that make me think of Provence, France and coordinated
it with two deep orange napkins.

I have this lovely cornucopia filled with silk Black-Eye Susan daisies

And this beautiful soup tureen that I found on one of my

Goodwill excursions.
I love the octagonal shape of these plates their edging and how it

complements and contrasts with the shape and edging of the
low wide-rimmed bowls.

I love the low rimmed bowl. Seems perfect to me for soups and stews.

I chose a mismatch setting of silverware

and
my favorite teacups and teapot & creamer.

My favorite breadbasket ready for some fresh homemade bread.

After dinner we will enjoy a light dessert with coffee.

I placed two fragrant beeswax candles in coordinating candleholders

And lit the surrounding candles to bring warmth and atmosphere.
All set!
