Pansy Tea

I have a few pansies to plant and I thought
I’d have some fun with them before I do.

I love the artwork of

 Cicily Mary Barker.

Her sweet flower fairies
and their accompanying
poetry is simply Delightsome!

In honor of winter and spring’s garden happy faces,

I set this tea for you and for me.

I found these sweet Pansy plates last year! They're such fun!

I 'planted' a few Pansies in a trough generally
used for drywall mud. I saw this used on
one of Sarah Richardson's shows a while back.

Moss stones and birds were
added to enhance the garden theme.

I am using my sweet teapot with Wild Violets
 - the color was just right.

At each place setting I put a Pansy
in one of my green bubble
Depression Glass goblets.

Also, I used these butterfly napkin rings -
they add just the right touch!

Your visits always bring delight!
I hope this Pansy Tea brings a smile to your face
and brightens your day.

The Song of The Pansy Fairy
Pansy and Petunia, Periwinkle, Pink - How to choose the best of them, Leaving out the rest of them, That is hard, I think.

Poppy with its pepper-pots, Polyanthus, Pea - Though I wouldn't slight the rest, Isn't Pansy quite the best, Quite the best for P?

Black and brown and velvety, Purple, yellow, red; Loved by people big and small, All who plant and dig at all In a garden big.

Thank you so much for your visit,
