From Provencal to Creamy White

My daughter and I had the opportunity to get out of Dodge
last week. After a few days of icy roads, it was wonderful
to get out and do some shopping.

I spent a couple of hours leisurely walking through
Hobby Lobby – getting a few ideas – looking for
some items for future projects.
Then we headed to one of my favorite stores.
T J Maxx
I was looking for some toile pillows I saw in another’s blog
when my daughter called my cell telling me to come to
her quickly in housewares. “You are going to just die –
I am!”

So I rushed over there –
She was right!

Both she and my husband blessed me with some
Creamy white pottery.
There in the clearance aisle were a few more items
in this line –
Each one she lifted from the shelf to show me
I just lifted my hands in surrender and pointed
toward the cart!

It was Delightsome!
So, when I brought my finds to my home – I
realized a new trend for my kitchen.

Whereas I had lots of color – basically a
Provence style décor – now my coloring is
tending more toward creams.

I can see this carrying through the Spring and the Summer.

Still changing and rearranging –

I chose to spray paint these two items to
go along with the theme.
If I ever change my mind –

I can always paint them again!
Isn’t paint wonderful!
